WWE Money in the Bank Lineup Including WWE Title Match, Plus Men’s and Women’s Superstars in Ladder Matches

The next World Wrestling Entertainment pay-per-view is Money in the Bank on May 19 at the XL Center in Hartford, CT. Earlier this week on Raw, we learned a lot about the card and then last night on Smackdown, the list of competitors for both the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches were announced.

The WWE Championship match also became official for Money in the Bank. Kofi Kingston started the show in the ring where he was interviewed by Michael Cole. During the interview, Kingston talked about Kevin Owens attacking him at the end of Smackdown one week earlier and he told Owens that if he wanted a WWE Championship match, all he had to do was ask. Kingston officially challenged Owens to a WWE Championship match at Money in the Bank and Owens accepted it soon after.

We also learned what men and women from Smackdown will be competing in the Money in the Bank ladder matches.

The Smackdown participants in the men’s ladder match were revealed in a graphic during the show: Randy Orton, Andrade, (Intercontinental Champion) Finn Balor and Ali. The guys had a tag team match later in the night with Ali pinning Andrade to get the win for his team.

The Smackdown participants in the women’s ladder match were revealed in different segments throughout the show: Bayley, Mandy Rose, Ember Moon and Carmella.

The men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match has three former winners in Randy Orton, Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman. The women’s MITB Ladder Match has two former winners in Alexa Bliss and Carmella.

Universal Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. AJ Styles

WWE Championship: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Kevin Owens

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Baron Corbin, Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, Ricochet, Ali, Randy Orton, Andrade, Finn Balor

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

Roman Reigns vs. Elias

Raw Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lacey Evans

Steel Cage Match: Shane McMahon vs. The Miz

Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Alexa Bliss, Natalya, Naomi, Dana Brooke, Bayley, Mandy Rose, Ember Moon, Carmella
