WWE Money In The Bank Match Ratings By Dave Meltzer
The ratings are in by the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, who had a lot of praise for some matches at WWE Money in the Bank.
It was this past Saturday at WWE’s Money in the Bank Premium Live Event in London, England when The Usos headlined the show against their cousin Roman Reigns, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, and their brother Solo Sikoa.
That match was called the “Bloodline Civil War” because after spending the last three years together, Jey Uso joined his brother Jimmy and finally broke free from his manipulative cousin Roman to fight back. The Usos won the match after a barrage of superkicks and Jey hitting an Uso Splash off the top rope on Reigns, who suffered his first pinfall defeat since December 2019, which is over 3.5 years ago.
There were also two Money in the Bank Ladder matches with Damian Priest winning the men’s match that opened the show while IYO SKY of Damage CTRL won the women’s match.
While the fans in London definitely wanted LA Knight to win and certainly didn’t want Logan Paul to win, it was Damian Priest of The Judgment Day that found a way to get it done. Priest was put through a ladder by Paul earlier in the match, but he was still able to come back to win as the tallest man in the match.
IYO SKY was victorious in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match after handcuffing Bayley and Becky Lynch together on opposite sides of the ladder that was in the ring. Since the three other women (Trish Stratus, Zoey Stark & Zelina Vega) were out on the floor, it allowed SKY to climb over and retrieve the briefcase for the big win.
Those victories by Priest and SKY mean that they can cash in the Money in the Bank contracts on any WWE champions at any time for a title shot whenever they want.
