Triple H may have to make the tough decision of vacating a major WWE championship.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez have held the Women’s Tag Team Championship since the April 21 episode of Monday Night RAW.

Nevertheless, Morgan suffered a dislocated shoulder last night on the red brand during her match against Kairi Sane, which would probably keep her out of action for several months.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer speculated on the future of the Women’s Tag Team Title after the 31-year-old’s injury.

Alvarez claimed that the Chief Content Officer, Triple H, would have to vacate the title due to the current circumstances, to which Meltzer agreed.

They’re going to have to vacate those Women’s Tag Team Titles now, said Alvarez. [H/T: Ringside News]

Liv Morgan And Raquel Rodriguez Last Defended Their WWE Title In April

Despite holding the title for nearly two months, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez have not been fighting champions.

The Judgment Day members only had one successful championship defense since capturing the Women’s Tag Team Title on the RAW After WrestleMania. It came against Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley on NXT.

Although Morgan took time off to film a movie before returning a couple of weeks ago, the belts remained on her and her partner’s shoulders.

If the 31-year-old’s recent injury sidelines her for several months, it’s reasonable to expect the company to vacate the Women’s Tag Team Championship, potentially crowning new champions ahead of the Evolution premium live event.
