WWE May Have Given Solo Sikoa’s Faction New Name

Solo Sikoa has worked extremely hard to ensure that he isn’t under Roman Reigns’ or The Usos’ control anymore.

He had briefly taken over leadership of The Bloodline, but with Reigns’ return, his attempt to become The Tribal Chief did not work out.

So, he created something that completely belonged to him, the MFT (My Family Tree). The faction members are Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, JC Mateo, and Solo Sikoa himself.

Solo Sikoa’s faction members have a new name

On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Tama Tonga and JC Mateo took down Rey Fenix and Shinsuke Nakamura in a tag team match. Announcer Michael Cole referred to them as ‘The MFT’s United Empire’. This was a new moniker for the duo.

While it’s unknown if the Stamford-based promotion will use ‘The MFT’s United Empire’ in reference to Solo Sikoa’s faction moving forward or whether it was a one-off name given to the tag team of Tama Tonga and JC Mateo.

Lately, The MFTs have been making headlines for taking down Sami Zayn during his United States Championship matches. They attacked him during his match against Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown. Furthermore, they attacked Zayn once against after Ilja Dragunov dethroned him.

Currently, Sami Zayn is out of action.
