WWE Match Pulled From Raw’s Netflix Debut

A match scheduled for WWE Raw’s Netflix premiere was scrapped from the show.

On the December 2nd edition of Raw, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods shocked the world by turning on Big E and kicking him out of The New Day. The move marked the first time the pair have turned heel in the last decade. While their new personas have seen them making enemies on the red brand, the duo has yet to face any of them in the ring.

That was supposed to change when Raw debuted on Netflix, as Rey Mysterio had challenged Woods and Kingston to face him and a mystery partner on the show. However, on the much-hyped show, The New Day said the bout wouldn’t be happening as they had told Triple H that Los Angeles didn’t deserve to see them wrestle.

Many fans had expected the partner to be former AEW star Penta El Zero Miedo, but the lucha star’s WWE debut has been delayed. Despite this, another teaser aired for the Mexican star, this time with the mask revealing the name “Penta.”

Triple H All But Confirms Penta El Zero Miedo’s WWE Debut

On the post-Raw press conference, Triple H seemingly confirmed when Penta El Zero Miedo will make his WWE debut. On Netflix, Chad Gable revealed demanded a match with a luchador to prove he isn’t afraid to get in the ring with the high-flyers. At the press conference The Game said most people would have “figured out” who Gable’s opponent would be, heavily hinting at it being Penta himself.
