A televised WWE match had to be stopped due to a wrestler suffering an injury.

There is a lot of WWE programming on television these days. Fans who only watch the main roster might enjoy Raw and SmackDown, while NXT features many younger talents who are newer to the wrestling business.

While those are the three main shows, there is also Evolve on Thursday nights on Tubi in the US (YouTube internationally) and WWE LFG on Sunday nights.

WWE LFG differs from a traditional wrestling show in that it features WWE Hall of Famers The Undertaker, Michelle McCool, Bubba Ray Dudley, and Booker T coaching signed wrestlers and developing them into NXT-ready talents.

WWE LFG Match Stopped

During the August 10 episode of WWE LFG Season 2 on A&E, women’s wrestlers Sirena Linton and Bayley Humphrey were in a match. Linton is on Booker T’s team, and Humphrey is on Undertaker’s team. Both women were a part of season one as well.

Humphrey slammed Linton into the mat on the show, and Linton appeared like she was disoriented after taking the move. That led to the referee checking on Linton, and the “X” was signalled by the referee, which means there’s a legitimate injury concern, and the match was stopped. The medical team checked on Linton in the ring.

Later in the show, Linton confirmed what happened:

“I blacked out and didn’t know where I was during the match.”

The reality is that there are injuries during some wrestling matches, so the wrestlers in the ring have to learn how to deal with them when they happen. Based on the discussions after the injury, it appears that Linton will be okay.

Fans can watch WWE LFG on Sunday nights on A&E.
