WWE Making Plans For Big E’s Return
It seems Big E could be on his way back to WWE TV as his old teammates in The New Day look set to fall apart entirely.
After losing their way as singles stars, Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods came together as a team in late 2014, debuting as The New Day that November.
Despite some initial struggles and creative missteps, the trio went on to become a dominant force with with E and Kingston becoming World Champions, while Woods was King of the Ring in 2021. However, it was as a tag team that the group really cemented its legacy holding the tag team gold for a then-record 483 days.
The popular trio hit trouble in March 2022 when Big E suffered a broken neck and he hasn’t wrestled since. While more recently on Raw, Woods, and Kingston have found themselves at odds with the former’s behaviour growing ever-more erratic, sparking speculation the pair could split.
Things recently came to a head on Raw as Kingston and Woods became embroiled in a heated argument one week before WWE is dedicating an entire episode of Raw to ten years of The New Day. With the tag team on the rocks, it seems one man could be back to help try and save them.
