WWE Allegedly Making Major Change To Solo Sikoa’s Character

Solo Sikoa WWE

For much of his WWE run, Solo Sikoa was billed as a cold, calculated enforcer, a man who let his actions speak and rarely missed a target.

But in recent months, that image had started to fade. Losses, and setbacks left some fans questioning whether Sikoa still had that same aura of menace. However, with his recent United States Championship win at Night of Champions, that may be changing.

WWE seems to be steering Solo Sikoa back to his brutal roots, and all signs point to a darker, more dominant chapter for the new Bloodline leader.

Sam Roberts Thinks WWE Is Rebuilding Solo Sikoa

On a recent episode of Notsam Wrestling, Sam Roberts shared his thoughts on Solo Sikoa’s evolving presentation and what his latest actions could mean for the character moving forward. After taking out Jacob Fatu and standing tall on SmackDown, Solo’s edge may finally be coming back.

“I hope I’m reading this right. Maybe I’m being too optimistic. It feels like there’s work being done to reestablish Solo Sikoa as a physical threat guy, as an ‘I’ll beat you up’ guy,” Roberts said. [YouTube timestamp:- 14:15 -14:29]

The closing moments of Friday Night SmackDown 07/04 told the whole story. After teaming with JC Mateo to face Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu and ultimately losing the match, Sikoa and his crew made sure they got the last word.

As Fatu tried to set up a big spot post-match, Tala Tonga appeared to save Solo. Jimmy tried to intervene but was quickly overpowered by Tonga Loa and the rest of the Sikoa’s new Bloodline, MTF. What followed was an all-out assault: Samoan Spike to Fatu, powerbomb through the announce table, and the faction standing tall over the wreckage.
