WWE Making Big Changes To The Bloodline
WWE has a change in store for The Bloodline.
On the January 6th episode of Raw, Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa to reclaim the title of Tribal Chief. Sikoa had been using the moniker since WrestleMania 40 after Reigns lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes.
Following the event, Sikoa took ownership of The Bloodline and recruited Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.
However, following Sikoa’s loss to Reigns the group has hit trouble. On the January 17th edition of SmackDown, the star came to the ring to seemingly address the defeat but left without speaking. But for the first time, Fatu grabbed the microphone and told the world he was sick of disrespect, hinting he might stake his claim to overthrow Sikoa.
WWE To Make Bloodline Switch
As reported by WrestleVotes Radio via SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon, Sikoa, Fatu, Loa, and Tonga will no longer be known as The Bloodline. There’s no word on a new name for the faction.
“In a significant storyline update, we can confirm the plan as of now, for the grouping of Solo Sikoa, Tanga Loa, and Tama Tonga is to no longer be referred to as The Bloodline. It seems as though WWE is moving away from the heels using that name as Roman’s name is now back to being Tribal Chief.”
Jacob Fatu will return to action at Saturday Night’s Main Event when he takes on Braun Strowman. On SmackDown, Fatu and Tama Tonga attacked Jimmy Uso, but LA Knight ran in the make the save. However, Knight was overwhelmed, and Strowman took it upon himself to get involved in the action. The bout will be just Fatu’s second singles match on television since he debuted back in June.
In the show’s main event, Gunther will put the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Jey Uso.
