WWE Makes Major Decision On Liv Morgan

WWE is staying the course with Liv Morgan.

It was recently reported that Liv Morgan would be taking time away to work on a new movie, with several of those reports claiming the role could launch a career in Hollywood.

Although details were initially thin on the ground, it’s now been confirmed that Morgan will be taking a break from the ring.

Takashi Miike is set to direct Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, which will see Liv Morgan share the screen with Shun Oguri and Lily James. Morgan is slated to play a politician’s daughter who goes missing in Tokyo, while Lily James is the FBI agent sent to Japan to lead the investigation into her whereabouts.

WWE Has No Plans To Move Away From Liv Morgan

While fans were excited to see Morgan land such an impressive new role, social media was quickly flooded with questions about what the venture means for her WWE career.

According to a follow-up report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there are “no plans” for Morgan and on-screen partner Raquel Rodriguez to be stripped of the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Furthermore, there’s a belief that Morgan will be back with WWE within a “month or so,” or potentially even sooner. Filming for the new movie is reportedly scheduled for the “next few weeks.”

Morgan and Rodriguez lost the tag titles to Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria on night two of WrestleMania 41, before winning the gold back 24 hours later on Raw.
