WWE Make Major Change After Serious Executive Allegations

Triple H WWE

After serious allegations have been made against a top WWE executive, the company has made a major change on Raw.

In recent months, WWE has changed tact when it comes to credits on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT with Paul Levesque and Lee Fitting listed as executive producers for the company’s weekly shows.

After Kevin Dunn sensationally quit WWE after decades at the top of the company’s production department, Lee Fitting was installed as his replacement, and from day one it was not an appointment that went down well. Reports from the time suggested there was dismay in WWE over Lee Fitting’s appointment although any suggestion of unhappiness has since fizzled out. But things have now gone south.

Katie Strang and Andrew Marchand of The Athletic have reported that Lee Fitting was fired by ESPN after allegations of misconduct were made against him. The report suggests that Fitting “made comments objectifying women, criticized their physical appearance, and made crude jokes, some sexual in nature.” It is noted a complaint was made against him in 2023 before he was dismissed in August of that year.

WWE Take Lee Fitting’s Name Off Raw

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented on the absence of executive producer credits at the end of the December 23 edition of Raw, with Fitting’s name not shown:

His name was not on there. It was on SmackDown and at the end of the show tonight [Raw] it was not on. That’s the basic situation, there’s nothing new. The company hasn’t said anything nor do I expect them to say anything but just that fact alone tells you that something has changed.

Even if it’s just they don’t want that name shown on the screen right now. The whole produced by Paul Levesque and Lee Fitting thing that has been on every show for the last month or so – a little longer than that – wasn’t on the show tonight.

Meltzer continued by noting that Fitting is still part of WWE but a decision by company president Nick Khan could be made if more allegations emerge.
