WWE Needs To Make Major Rhea Ripley Decision

Rhea Ripley WWE

Rhea Ripley is currently caught between her friendship with Iyo Sky and her growing tension with Asuka.

It all started when Sky and Ripley formed a close bond, supporting each other in matches and sharing mutual respect. However, things took a turn when Asuka turned against Iyo Sky and attacked Sky and Ripley by misting both of them with her signature poison mist on RAW on different occasions.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky are scheduled to team up to face Asuka and Kairi Sane at Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia, on October 11. The tension continues to build, and fans are eager to see how this rivalry will unfold further, especially with a tag team match on the horizon.

The storyline is also being discussed by wrestling veterans, with Jim Cornette suggesting Rhea should be removed from the chaos to give her a fresh start. While people have been enjoying the drama on TV between these superstars, Cornette believes that this storyline is diminishing Mami’s star power.

This is what Cornette said on episode 602 of the Jim Cornette Experience podcast:

“If the television segment, as we will phrase, that we’ve talked about previously, is any indication of what, you know, these other three that are the kids that are in with Rhea are going to be contributing to this thing. I’d love to see her in and out of this thing as quickly as possible ‘cause that was just stinky bad,”

Why Did Rhea Ripley Miss RAW 10/06?

Rhea Ripley was absent from WWE Raw on October 6, which was also the final Raw before the big Crown Jewel event in Perth, Australia. Asuka and Kairi Sane attacked Iyo Sky during the show, but The Eradicator wasn’t there to save her friend.

The main reason for Ripley’s absence was that she was in Australia handling media and promotional duties ahead of the live show. Given that Crown Jewel was taking place in her home country, WWE used Mami as a key ambassador to connect with the local audience and build excitement for the event.
