WWE Tentatively Locks Main Event Matches For WrestleMania 42
WWE has been planting the seeds for WrestleMania 42 for months.
The Show of Shows will be presented from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 18 & 19.
In November, multiple sources reported that the company was planning to book a third Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns main event match for 2026. Additionally, CM Punk would again defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker.
Despite Drew McIntyre’s recent win over Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Championship changing hands, the Stamford promotion’s plan remains the same unless there are any last-minute changes or untoward injuries.
It is now a matter of how the writers plan for Cody to reclaim his title and how Roman enters into the fray.

He then addressed the audience, revisiting his time as the champion during the COVID-19 pandemic era.
