WWE Mae Young Classic Winner Kairi Sane Earns NXT Women’s Title Opportunity at NXT Takeover: Houston
“The Pirate Princess” Kairi Sane won the inaugural Mae Young Classic last night. She defeated Shayna Baszler in the final match of the tournament, which aired live on the WWE Network following Smackdown.
Minutes after the Mae Young Classic came to a conclusion, Triple H told ESPN that Sane will be wrestling to determine the next NXT Women’s Champion. Sane will get this opportunity on November 18 from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas at NXT’s next Takeover event.
