WWE: Luke Harper Is Reportedly Cleared To Return To Action

TJR Wrestling

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper was backstage during last night’s edition of Raw. This is according to PWInsider. The report said that Harper was there to meet with the WWE medical staff in order to see if he’s healthy enough to return to the ring. In an update on this story, Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Harper has officially been cleared to return to action.

During this year’s March 21 edition of Monday Night Raw, Luke Harper suffered an injury where he dislocated his patella and tore his MPFL ligament. Harper’s recovery time was estimated to be approximately 6 months, so his return is on schedule.

Mark’s reaction: Since Harper went un-drafted during this year’s WWE Draft, it is not yet known which brand he will end up on. If Harper goes to Smackdown, the original Wyatt Family trio could be reunited since Bray Wyatt and Eric Rowan are on that brand. If Harper goes to Raw, he’ll either be on his own or maybe get paired with Braun Strowman. However, I think that’s unlikely as it seems like WWE has plans for Strowman to be a singles star.
