WWE Locker Room “More Laidback” Under Triple H
A former WWE personality has commented on what they perceive to be a “more relaxed and laidback” atmosphere in the company under the leadership of Triple H.
Vince McMahon stunned the wrestling world in July when he announced his retirement from the company he led for forty years. McMahon’s exit came amid allegations of sexual misconduct and hush money payments and he has been replaced on the creative side of things by his son-in-law, Triple H.
Now, former WWE personality and wrestling veteran has commented on the overall feel of WWE shows since the change of management on Smack Talk, adding that the more relaxed vibe of the show can be seen in things commentators are now allowed to say:
“People actually feel that the show is more relaxed. Even the announcers are saying things you’ve never heard. They’re saying ‘wrestler,’ ‘belt,’ and things you couldn’t say.”
“I think if you talk over the fans, I think that p*sses them off too. They’re going to put up with it because they have no choice. But I never understood that – why they try to talk above their pay level. But, I guess hospitals was sounding too dangerous. I don’t know what it was. I think the whole atmosphere and mood of the WWE dressing room is more relaxed and laidback.”
