Several WWE Legends Set For Bad Blood, Grudge Match To Open Show
What will open the show at WWE Bad Blood?
On October 5th, WWE will hold the first show under the Bad Blood banner since 2004. However, the PLE will forever be remembered for its inaugural outing in 1997 which featured the first-ever Hell In A Cell match between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker. The end of the match famously saw the debut of Kane.
Returning to 2024, it’s been reported that Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu will headline the show. This is despite a Hell In A Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre being booked for the event.
In a new update from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, it’s been revealed that the match between Punk and McIntyre will open the show.
Furthermore, several legends and Hall of Famers will also be in town during the weekend for photo sessions. Johnson notes that Diamond Dallas Page and The Steiners will be involved, while he’s also heard talk of appearances from Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson, Madusa, and Jacqueline Moore. It’s unclear whether the veterans will appear on-screen.
