Vince McMahon won’t be going to the good place.

While it was something of an open secret that Vince McMahon had a dark side to his character, his alleged secrets have recently been thrown into the light.

In January 2024, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis, alleging sex trafficking and sexual abuse.

This was followed by the news that on October 23rd, 2024, a new lawsuit had been filed against Vince McMahon, Linda McMahon, WWE, and TKO. This time alleging that those named were complicit in the sexual exploitation of children by former ring announcer and ring crew chief Melvin Phillips Jr.

In the wake of the allegations going public in January, McMahon left the TKO Group board although he retains a financial interest in the company.

Vince McMahon Is “F*cking Crazy”

One man who worked closely and extensively with McMahon during his in-ring career is Kurt Angle.

During an appearance with Inside The Ropes back in 2022, Angle touched on his life working for McMahon, repeatedly stating that his former boss is crazy. The former World Champion quipped that McMahon is “going to go to hell when he dies.”

“He’s f***ing crazy, you know,” Angle said with a laugh. “Sometimes he gives me this look, like, he wants to kick my ass. You know, Vince has this way about him that he just likes to… I don’t know what it is. I don’t know what it is about Vince; he’s so complicated…

He just does some crazy s**t and to be an owner, a CEO of a company and to do some of the s**t that he does it’s just…it’s like ‘What the f***, man? Like, you’re the boss, man, you can’t be doing this crazy stuff.’

And I don’t want to say all the crazy stuff he does because you know some of the stuff is more private but Vince is a very special individual and he’s going to go to hell when he dies.”

Speaking elsewhere, Kurt Angle said he isn’t surprised WWE is thriving without Vince McMahon with the likes of Triple H and Paul Heyman taking control.
