WWE Legend Chased Vince McMahon Backstage: “I Was Gonna Kick His A**”

Vince McMahon

WWE legend Mark Henry was furious after Vince McMahon pranked him.

In 2011, after a SmackDown taping, Mr. McMahon pranked Henry by booking him for a dark match against debuting Sin Cara.

Henry entered the ring first. Then Sin Cara’s theme played repeatedly, but no one came out. Furious, Henry grabbed the mic, cut a raging promo demanding answers, and threatened to destroy the arena.

Everyone backstage, including Vince, had vanished, leaving Henry humiliated before the live crowd. He stormed to the parking lot, but McMahon was already in his limo, storming off.

Mark Henry Almost Quit WWE Because Of Vince McMahon’s Prank

Speaking in a new interview on the Six Feet Under With The Undertaker podcast, Mark Henry revealed that he was so angry at Vince McMahon and others that he trashed the backstage area.

After McMahon managed to escape Henry’s wrath, Henry called him, saying he was going to “kick his a**” and told him that he was done with WWE.

I threw the mic down and started power walking. Vince and all run, get in the limos, and drive off to the airport. All the TVs in Gorilla had a fist print. All the tables got broke.

The operating board got broke. I just start stomping stuff. They had one of those metal push doors in Vince’s [McMahon] office. I was so mad that I didn’t want to push it; I kicked it, missed the bar, and hit the support, and it ripped it out of the concrete.

I run out to the parking lot, and for me to run, I’m mad, and I see the limo driving off. I’m just so mad. I called Vince on his phone, cussed him out, and told him I was gonna kick his a** when I saw him, like, “I’m done; you can keep this… I went home, that was the worst I ever felt in wrestling.

The next day, Vince’s team contacted Henry and apologized to him.
