WWE Legend Receives Standing Ovation After Possible Final Match
The WWE legend’s future is uncertain after Evolution 2.
WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus initially retired from in-ring competition in 2006 after winning her seventh Women’s Championship. However, she has made several returns over the past two decades.
After teaming up with Tiffany Stratton earlier this year to beat Nia Jax and Candice LeRae at Elimination Chamber, the Diva of the Decade challenged Tiffy Time for the WWE Women’s Championship tonight at Evolution.
The 49-year-old gave an impressive performance, leading the crowd to chant “You still got it!” Nevertheless, she failed to capture her eighth Women’s Title.
Following her loss to Stratton, Trish Stratus received a standing ovation from the crowd. Fans also changed “Thank you, Trish,” as the wrestling legend celebrated with them before leaving the ring.
While commenting on the emotional moment, Wade Barrett pointed out that every time Stratus leaves the ring, people wonder if it would be the last time, hinting at the possibility of the WWE Hall of Famer retiring from wrestling.

The Hall of Famer encouraged the WWE Universe to make their voices heard if they want to see her again in the squared circle.
It’s only July right now I’ve literally said, ‘If you guys want some more Stratusfaction, let me know. But if you don’t, then let me know too.’ [H/T Ringside News]
