WWE Legend Officially Signs 2-Year Deal With Company
WWE legend Lilian Garcia is back in WWE.
The October 20 edition of Monday Night Raw was held at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. A few major things took place on the show, like Seth Rollins vacating his WWE World Heavyweight Championship, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defeating The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to become the new World Tag Team Champions.
The main event of the show also saw Jey Uso win a battle royal to become the other #1 contender for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H later revealed that he will face CM Punk for the vacant title at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.
Lilian Garcia Continues Her Journey With WWE
Notably, WWE’s RAW ring announcer, Alicia Taylor, was missing from the Monday night show, and the legendary ring announcer Lilian Garcia was there to fill in for her. After her RAW appearance on Monday, Garcia logged on to Instagram to celebrate her return to the Stamford-based company. She thanked the fans for their love and support and disclosed that she has signed a new two-year deal with the promotion.
Garcia wrote:
Exactly 1 year ago today, I returned to my home – the @wwe. What an incredible year it has been being able to announce shows on Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Saturday Nights Main Event & Worlds Collide! In fact, being able to continue to also sing and now announce in Spanish has been such an added treat!!
