WWE Legend Wants Seth Rollins To Be More Like CM Punk

CM Punk WWE

A veteran has urged Seth Rollins to look at CM Punk for inspiration.

Arguably, the biggest talking point heading into Elimination Chamber centred around whether Cody Rhodes would sell his soul to The Rock at the event. This led to a segment on Raw where Seth Rollins interrupted a promo from Rhodes where he urged the star not to make the same mistakes he’d made in the past.

As it turned out, Rollins didn’t need to worry as Cody Rhodes told The Rock to “go f*ck himself,” before the Hollywood star’s new partner in chaos was revealed to be John Cena. The stunning heel turn for Cena was cemented by a vicious beatdown on Rhodes, with the show going off the air to the sight of Rock and Cena standing tall.

Seth Rollins Needs To Look At CM Punk

During a recent episode of his Kilq This podcast, Kevin Nash gave his thoughts on the February 24 edition of Raw and the segment between Rhodes and Rollins. Nash said he liked the segment because Rollins was playing a more serious role. He added that Rollins is much better when presented that way and compared him to CM Punk, who, he said, isn’t “playing a f*cking wrestling guy.”

“I thought Rollins and Cody had a good promo segment. I like when Rollins is Rollins, not Rollins with the f*cking [mimics Rollins’ laugh]. Don’t be a character, just be you. You’ve been around long enough. Just watch Phil [CM Punk]. Watch Phil in the opening segment. Punk’s just Punk. He’s not playing a f*cking wrestling guy.

[Rollins] was obviously more entertaining in that segment to me than he was…if you’re gonna wear that outfit, please be real. Don’t be f*cking on top of that something else,”

Meanwhile, it’s been revealed that CM Punk has been removed from two upcoming WWE Raw tapings during the company’s European tour. The star is no longer being advertised for the tapings in Glasgow on March 24 and in London on March 31.
