The WWE Universe could be in for a huge surprise at Evolution 2.

Seven matches have been announced for Evolution, set to take place tomorrow at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. One of these bout is a Battle Royal with the winner getting a world championship match at Clash in Paris.

As people expect some legends to return to compete in the Battle Royal, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella had already announced her participation. Reports also claimed Alundra Blayze and Jazz may take part in the match.

Speaking on his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. addressed other potential returns. He suggested Lita could make a surprise comeback in the Battle Royal. The Hall of Famer was last seen on TV over two years ago when she was attacked backstage by someone who was later revealed to be Trish Stratus.

Lita could make a little comeback. Maybe a little one-shot. Get in and get out. [3:31 onwards]

Trish Stratus Will Fight Tiffany Stratton For The WWE Women’s Championship

While Lita’s return is uncertain, her historic on-screen rival and real-life best friend Trish Stratus is scheduled to compete at Evolution 2. The Hall of Famer will challenge the WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton for the title. It would mark the 49-year-old’s first WWE Women’s Title match in almost two decades.

In a recent interview with Sam Roberts, the seven-time Women’s Champion addressed her WWE future after Evolution. She urged fans to make their voices heard if they want to see more of her in the Stamford-based company.

It’s only July right now. I’ve literally said, ‘If you guys want some more Stratusfaction, let me know. But if you don’t, then let me know too.’ [H/T Ringside News]
