WWE Legend Returning To Action During WrestleMania Week
A former WWE Women’s Champion is getting back in the ring.
It’s been announced that Mickie James will be returning to action at the 2025 WrestleCon Supershow during WrestleMania week.
At the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow on April 17, James will take on Maki Itoh. The veteran will also be appearing at the WrestleCon convention on April 18, and April 20.
The match will be James’ first in seven months, and just her fourth since leaving TNA Wrestling in October 2023. Itoh and James have never wrestled before.
Mickie James Dropped By WWE
The news comes just weeks after it was revealed that Mickie James had been replaced for the second season of WWE LFG. James had been working as one of the designated legends and coaches on the show, but her name was missing from a press release announcing season two.
Instead, the show will feature soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer Michelle McCool.
It was later reported that The Undertaker was instrumental in McCool landing the role, however, there was no suggestion that he asked for James to be removed.
