A former WWE talent would love to return to the ring after 4 years.

CJ Perry (fka Lana) is known for her managerial role within the company, managing Rusev for the majority of her career and briefly Bobby Lashley.

She even competed as a wrestler, making her debut at WrestleMania 32 during the pre-show, in a 10-woman tag team match.

Her first and only singles win on SmackDown came against Billie Kay, allowing her to qualify for the 2018 Money in the Bank ladder match, which was ultimately won by Alexa Bliss.

Perry’s final WWE match was on the May 31, 2021, episode of RAW, where she teamed up with Naomi, losing to Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose.

She was released a couple of days later. In 2023, she joined AEW in a managerial role, hoping to manage Miro (Rusev), but ended up with Andrade as her client.

At the 2023 Worlds End pay-per-view, she turned on Andrade in a match against Miro, which was also her final appearance in the company.

Ex-WWE Star CJ Perry Expresses Desire For In-Ring Return

CJ Perry recently spoke on TMZ Inside The Ring, claiming she would love to wrestle again. However, she recognized that her talent lay more in promoting talent than in-ring competition.

I would love to wrestle again, but I do believe that my money pocket, and what I add the most value to wrestling companies is talking and promoting their talent.

At the end of the day, we’re in the business of promotion. And if you watch the McMahon documentary, if you watch Logan and Jake Paul talk about about boxing and wrestling, we’re in the business of selling tickets and promoting. [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]
