WWE Legend On Brink Of Return

A WWE favourite is returning to television.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Goldberg will step into the ring one more time as he tries to capture the World Heavyweight Title for a final time before he retires. However, it seems he isn’t the only Hall of Famer looking to make a return.

After stepping away from the ring in late 2023, Trish Stratus has already wrestled twice in 2025 as she celebrates 25 years since making her debut. But it seems she won’t be stopping there.

Trish Stratus To Feature At WWE Evolution

According to a new report on Wrestle Votes Radio, Stratus will be back with WWE very soon. In fact, an announcement confirming her return had been scheduled for the June 13 edition of SmackDown, but it ended up being dropped.

“We are told the return of Trish Stratus is also right around the corner, as the announcement of her return was planned and scripted into the 6/13 episode of Friday night SmackDown,.

According to a source, the announcement of her return and accompanying graphics were set to air prior to John Cena’s second promo of the night.”

The report added that although the initial announcement was scrapped, Stratus is expected to be part of Evolution. However, the report didn’t indicate what she might be doing.

“While this plan was obviously scrapped, we are told the return is still on the books, with Stratus set to be part of the upcoming Evolution PLE, obviously.”

Elsewhere, Brie Bella has admitted she’d be open to making a WWE comeback, adding she’s “waiting on the call.” Despite the comments from Bella, it had previously been reported that she had been in talks with the company.
