WWE Legend Loses On RAW For The First Time In 10 Years

A WWE legend suffered a shocking loss on RAW for the first time in a decade.

Nikki Bella returned to the Stamford-based company earlier this year. She has since competed in four matches, including two on Monday Night RAW.

In her first match back on the red brand, the former Divas Champion beat Chelsea Green. She was also victorious in a tag team match, in which she teamed up with Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, and Stephanie Vaquer against Alba Fyre, Chelsea Green, Naomi, and Piper Niven.

Tonight on RAW, Bella approached IYO SKY backstage, but their conversation was interrupted by Asuka. The Empress of Tomorrow demanded that the WWE Hall of Famer stay away from the former Women’s World Champion.

Bella responded by demanding that Asuka respect her, even if she disliked her. The Japanese star then challenged the WWE legend to a match tonight to “beat the respect out of her.”

Nikki Bella Fails To Beat Asuka On WWE RAW

The former Divas Champion accepted Asuka’s challenge. The two ladies went head-to-head for the first time ever in their WWE careers.

Despite Nikki Bella’s effort, she failed to defeat The Empress of Tomorrow as the latter forced her to tap out to the Asuka Lock. That marked Bella’s first singles loss on RAW in a decade.

The 41-year-old’s last singles defeat on RAW before tonight took place on September 14, 2015, against Charlotte Flair in a Divas Championship match.

Following her loss to Asuka, the two superstars had another confrontation backstage on RAW, which saw Rhea Ripley come to Bella’s aid.
