WWE Legend Insists He’ll Never Wrestle Again Amid WrestleMania 43 Speculation

WrestleMania 43 WWE Saudi Arabia Riyadh

WWE’s first-ever Grand Slam Champion was rumored to return to the squared circle at WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia.

WWE CCO Triple H and the Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, recently announced Riyadh as the host of WrestleMania 43 in 2027.

Since then, rumors have suggested that the Saudi officials have requested several legends to be on the card, including The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels.

The Heartbreak Kid is no stranger to competing in the Arab country. Although he retired from in-ring action in 2010, he made a one-off comeback seven years ago to team up with his DX partner, Triple H, against The Brothers of Destruction at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

The WWE Legend Is Set For Surgery & Won’t Wrestle Again

The 60-year-old WWE Hall of Famer is currently the Senior Vice President of Talent Development, Creative at WWE. He oversees the creative process in NXT.

During a recent appearance on Nightcap with Unc & Ocho, a possible Shawn Michaels return to the squared circle was brought up, to which The Heartbreak Kid responded by immediately shutting down the idea. The four-time world champion also disclosed that he is set for a surgery to replace both knees.

Not a chance. Not a chance. And even—hey, look, even if they weren’t, I’m so blessed and so fortunate to have done what I’ve done. But it is—I am so overjoyed to be doing what I do now, and helping, you know, the future of the WWE and to be a part of that. [H/T: Ringside News]

Triple H was also recently a guest on Nightcap with Unc & Ocho. The Game named Shawn Michaels as the greatest in-ring performer of all time.
