WWE Legend Hints Again At In-Ring Comeback

A WWE legend has again hinted their wrestling career isn’t over.

Trish Stratus hasn’t wrestled since being defeated by Becky Lynch in a Cage Match at Payback 2023.

What began as a short-term comeback in February, turned into a full-time run lasting the best part of seven months. At the time many suggested it could have been the last match of Stratus’ career, but the reality has been less clear.

The star has repeatedly hinted she could wrestle again, and speculation went into overdrive after an interaction with Tiffany Stratton at Money In The Bank. That appearance came shortly after Trish Stratus laughed off suggestions she’s retired, joking she doesn’t know the meaning of the word.

This was followed up by another interview in August where Stratus said she wanted to finish her story.

“Cody isn’t the only one with an unfinished story,” said Stratus. “I loved being back as a special guest in Toronto at Money in the Bank. And who knows, if I can still go, I’ll still keep going. I’ll never half-ass it. If fans are interested and it can influence another generation, then we’ll see.”

It Could By Tiffy Time For WWE Legend Trish Stratus

During an appearance at Comic-Con Northern Ireland 2024, Stratus was asked who she would like to wrestle, and not for the first time, she teased a match with Stratton.

“Becky Lynch. Oh wait, we did that already. From the current landscape, you’re saying? What time is it? Is it Tiffy Time? I mean, she’s a little bit arrogant, and I think it’d be interesting to show her what it’s all about from someone back in the day. Maybe Tiffany Stratton.”

Stratton has enjoyed a meteoric rise after signing with WWE in 2021. Over the following three years, the star has won the NXT Women’s Title and currently holds the Women’s Money In The Bank briefcase.
