WWE Legend Wants Goldberg Removed From The Hall Of Fame

Goldberg WWE Hall of Fame

One WWE legend thinks former WCW Champion Goldberg should be removed from the Hall of Fame and says if he can get in, so can anyone.

Goldberg had a meteoric rise to success in WCW in the late nineties as he built up an unprecedented undefeated streak on his way to defeating Hollywood Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Championship.

But over the years, the former World Heavyweight Champion has proved a polarising figure, whether it’s from people debating his in-ring skills, his comebacks for shows in Saudi Arabia, or in the case of Bret Hart for ending The Hitman’s career with an errant kick that caused a severe concussion.

Bret Hart has never been shy about his thoughts on the former NFL player and said during a virtual signing for K&S WrestleFest, Bret Hart said that if the star was in the WWE Hall of Fame then so should perennial enhancement talent Barry Horowitz before he called for the man who was inducted in 2018 to be removed:

“I always thought that if Goldberg got into the Hall of Fame then Horowitz should’ve gone into the Hall of Fame because Horowitz can actually wrestle. Goldberg never could. I think he got in there for hurting everybody he worked with. […] They should take Goldberg out.”

Goldberg recently spoke on his relationship with Bret Hart and said that after all these years he’s “done apologising” to The Excellence of Execution.
