WWE Legend Doesn’t Want To Wrestle “Flash In The Pan” Goldberg
One WWE Hall of Famer has admitted they’d have no interest in getting in the ring with Goldberg and explained exactly why.
Goldberg will have the final match of his career at Saturday Night’s Main Event when he challenges Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The WWE Hall of Famer built his career on short, hard-hitting wins that made him an almost instant hero with WCW fans in the late nineties. However, the star has not always been as popular with his fellow wrestlers as he has been with crowds.
WWE Hall Of Famer Wants No Part Of Goldberg
Speaking on The Snake Pit podcast, Jake Roberts and his co-host discussed Goldberg with Roberts explaining why he wouldn’t want to get in the ring with the “flash in the pan”:
[Jake]: Flash in the pan, bro, he doesn’t want to be a wrestler, never did.
[Marcus]: You don’t think objectively when you’re watching him, did you get to see much of his stuff?
[Jake]: Enough to know that I wouldn’t want to be in the ring with him.
[Marcus]: What do you think it was about him specifically that, because there’s been a lot of big guys and there’s been a lot of tough guys, what do you think it is about Goldberg specifically that made him such a phenomenon in 1998?
[Jake]: He had the look, man.
