WWE Legend Thinks Female Stars Forced Male Roster To “Up Their Game”

Rhea Ripley entrance WWE Raw Netflix

WWE’s women’s roster is stronger than ever.

On the January 6 episode of Raw, Rhea Ripley beat Liv Morgan to regain the Women’s World Championship.

After a hard-fought win, Ripley headed back up the aisle to celebrate, where she was joined by The Undertaker. The pair briefly posed for the crowd before going backstage.

The Undertaker has long been an advocate for the women’s roster and repeatedly called for WWE to introduce Women’s Intercontinental and United States Titles, something it subsequently did.

On a recent episode of his Six Feet Under Podcast, ‘Taker said that WWE’s women’s division had improved so much that it forced their male counterparts to up their game.

“The whole women’s division in its own right has gone (up). There are times when I watch and for a while, the women had a little bit more grit than the men did. Now, the men have kind of figured that out and were like, ‘We need to step up our game,'”

WWE Wasted The Undertaker’s Streak

Speaking elsewhere, The Undertaker again claimed the end of The Streak was wasted on Brock Lesnar. Since that famous night at WrestleMania 30, The Deadman has repeatedly stated that there was no need to have Lesnar break his WrestleMania streak as he simply didn’t need it.

During a new interview, ‘Taker put forward Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns who would have been better suited to Lesnar’s position.

The Undertaker went on to face both Wyatt and Reigns at WrestleMania after being pinned by Lesnar, beating the former, and losing to the latter.
