WWE Legend Eyes In-Ring Return After 7 Years For Major PLE

WWE fans

The WWE Universe could witness the return of a massive legend.

Alundra Blayze (AKA Madusa) is considered one of the iconic figures of women’s wrestling. She had historic stints in WWE and WCW in the 1990s. The 62-year-old entered the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015.

The Queen of Carnage returned to the WWE ring in 2018 after almost two decades of absence to participate in the 20-woman Battle Royal at Evolution.

Although Blayze has since made several sporadic appearances in the Stamford-based company, including one that saw her win the 24/7 Championship backstage after forcing Candice Michelle to submit, she has not wrestled in the squared circle for the past seven years.

The wrestling legend recently took to X to express her interest in making a return to take part in this year’s Battle Royal at Evolution. The winner of the match would receive a world title match at Clash in Paris.

THIS WAS FUN!! Looking forward to #WWEEvolution #BattleRoyal It would be great again! I wish

Another WWE Legend Booked For Title Match At Evolution 2

Seven matches have already been announced for Evolution 2, including a grudge match between Jade Cargill and Naomi, a Triple Threat Women’s Intercontinental Title match between Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Lyra Valkyria, and a Women’s World Championship fight between Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley.

Meanwhile, Tiffany Stratton announced last Friday on SmackDown that she will defend her WWE Women’s Championship against a returning Trish Stratus. The Hall of Famer last wrestled in March when she teamed with Tiffy Time to beat Nia Jax and Candice LeRae at Elimination Chamber in her hometown of Toronto.

The wrestling legend pointed out that while her children have now seen her wrestle, they have not seen her as a champion, which she plans to do at Evolution.
