Massive WWE Legend Confesses To Drinking 100 Beers In One Night
WWE Hall of Famer reveals a shocking night where it rained beers.
Stone Cold Steve Austin is a name synonymous with beer-drinking in WWE. The Texas Rattlesnake would guzzle down some cans after raising hell and laying waste to his in-ring opponents in grand celebratory fashion.
The 13-time WWE Champion would also frequently have beer bashes, where he would celebrate with other wrestlers on the roster. He would do this during his time as a wrestler and as on-screen general manager of WWE RAW in the 2000s after his untimely retirement following a serious neck and spine injury.
He was also known to be a beer drinker outside of the ring and still maintains relations with some of his ex-colleagues. Austin recently sat down with Chris Van Vliet for an in-depth conversation about his career, and as expected, was asked about his beer-drinking.
WWE Legend Stone Cold Steve Austin Reveals How He Ended Up Having 100 Beers During A Show.
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on his Insight podcast, Austin was asked about the maximum number of beers that he had had in one night. The Hall of Famer recalled that at a show in Japan, during which The Dudley Boyz, Stacy Keibler, and many other people were in the ring. Austin then decided to toss some beers to all of them, but the number went surprisingly high, to about 100 cans.
It was over in Japan, and I’ve talked about this before, because the Dudleys were there, and Stacy Keibler was there, and there’s a whole bunch of people that were in the ring. So I just started tossing out beers, but I think we went over 100 and this isn’t an Andre story that, but I believe there was 100 beers involved in that. Now, did they all get drank into Completion? No, it was spilled everywhere and thrown here, there and wherever.
The Texas Rattlesnake also revealed that he always liked to have a beer with Goldberg, even though the latter didn’t drink.
But I think that was about the biggest one ever, over in Japan. I used to like to get Goldberg in the ring and toss him beers on a few occasions that we did that, because Bill don’t drink. He’ll drink a beer ot two, but he doesn’t really drink.
And so I’d keep force-feeding him beers, because if you’re in the ring with Stone Cold, you got to drink the beer. And I’d try to get him as hammered as I could before I left the ring. It’s kind of an ongoing rib between me and Bill. I still keep up with him.
