WWE Legend Confesses Difficulty Connecting With Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins

Former WWE RAW General Manager isn’t a fan of Seth Rollins’ new character.

Seth Rollins is one of the most talked-about stars today, especially after WrestleMania 41. However, some people, like WWE Legend Eric Bischoff, may find it hard to connect with him.

While reviewing Saturday Night’s Main Event on the 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff delved deeper into Seth Rollins’ current run. He said that he found it difficult connecting with him, even though he is a great performer. The former WWE RAW General Manager also stated that his opinions are only his own because he isn’t an engaged fan like he was earlier.

“Look, I respect the he** out of Seth Rollins. He is a phenomenal performer. He is a great character. I’m just not connected and I should be because the guy is amazing. But the character is just not hitting the chord. I write that off as that’s just me. I’m seventy years old, I’m not watching wrestling every week. So I’m not in it, I’m not engaged. Therefore, my opinion is just my opinion. Wouldn’t have anybody to have it. But for me, it just doesn’t click. As a character, just as an entertainment property, an actor, a performer, take his ring work and all out of it, what am I getting when this character comes out of the curtain? It just misses the mark.” [25:01 – 26:03]

Seth Rollins Introduces A New Member To His Alliance At Saturday Night’s Main Event

Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker kicked things off on Saturday Night’s Main Event. The duo took on the team of CM Punk and Sami Zayn in the opener of the show. All four men share a storied rivalry and were looking to get the upper hand over the weekend.

Towards the closing moments of the show, CM Punk was taken through the barricade by someone dressed in black. The star later revealed himself as Bronson Reed. After Breakker pinned Zayn, Reed got into the ring and locked eyes with Rollins. Breakker got in the way but was asked to back down by The Visionary, who extended his hand and embraced Reed.
