WWE Legend Makes Shocking Confession About Stripping On TV

One WWE Hall of Famer has explained how she really felt about having to strip on live television.

The Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Eras of WWE won’t be fondly remembered for how they treated female stars in the company. While the women in the company are now firmly part of the show and competitive matches, back then it was more a case of eye-candy and bra & panties matches to titillate rather than engross fans.

Torrie Wilson made the jump to WWE after WCW folded in 2001 and became a focal point of some of these excesses of the time. Wilson has gone on record with how uncomfortable she was with some of the things she was asked to do, and it seems she’d have rather mixed it up in the ring than some of the things she did on live TV.

Responding to a fan on social media who shared a photo of Wilson stripping and wondering if she’d have preferred to wrestle, the WWE Hall of Famer wrote:

Since leaving WWE in 2007, Torrie Wilson has made a handful of sporadic appearances in the company and has been part of the women’s Royal Rumble in 2018 and, most recently, 2021. Wilson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019.

Torrie Wilson recently revealed she had become a mother for the first time at the age of 50.
