Several WWE Legends To Appear At Saturday Night’s Main Event
Several WWE legends will be at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
On December 14th, WWE is bringing back Saturday Night’s Main Event for the first time since 2008. The show is set to have an old-school feel and will feature the return of Jesse Ventura.
Cody Rhodes and Triple H have also teased the return of the Winged Eagle World Championship belt — something Rhodes has publicly been campaigning for.
But those won’t be the only returns on the big night.
As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Jimmy Hart, Tito Santana, Greg Valentine, Ted DiBiase, and Koko B. Ware will be on the show. There’s no word on whether they’ll be involved in any segments or just shown in the crowd.
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Updated Card
At present, five matches have been announced for Saturday Night’s Main Event, with the destiny of four championships to be decided. It’s also been reported that an injured WWE star could return at the event.
You can find the full card below.
- Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens – Undisputed WWE Championship
- Gunther (c) vs. Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor – World Heavyweight Championship
- Liv Morgan (c) vs. Iyo Sky – Women’s World Championship
- Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn
- Women’s United States Title Tournament Finals
Ahead of his match with Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre took aim at the wrestling industry and fans online. The former World Champion said he’d given too much of himself to the business and claimed only one person checked on him while he was absent following Blood.
McIntyre added that he doesn’t care what fans online think because they’re so fickle before storming out of the interview.
