Ole Anderson was one of the original members of the legendary Four Horseman and now WWE had led the tributes after his passing.

Ole Anderson formed the Four Horseman group in Jim Crockett Promotions in the eighties alongside Arn Anderson, JJ Dillon, Tully Blanchard, and Ric Flair. Together they run roughshod over rivals such as Dusty Rhodes, Nikolai Volkoff, and Sting. Anderson was eventually thrown out of the group when they welcomed in Lex Luger.

WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton broke the news on social media that Ole Anderson had passed away at the age of 81:

Rest in Paradise, Ole Anderson. You taught me so much in professional wrestling. You were tough as nails. You will be missed, my friend. ❤️

WWE & Wrestling World Pay Tribute To Ole Anderson

Ole Anderson’s passing was mentioned on Monday Night Raw by Michael Cole and the company paid tribute with a graphic for the star.

More tributes to the late star came from AEW as well as wrestling stars of the past and present. Many of these can be read below.

Ole Anderson was not part of the Four Horsemen’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame – along with several other members of the group from over the years. He had a contentious relationship with Vince McMahon over the years which many believe to him being the only original member to be overlooked.
