WWE Launches WCW YouTube Channel

A new WWE YouTube channel dedicated to the history of WCW has been launched.

It has been a year of change for wrestling fans who used to have and love the WWE Network. The WWE Network that launched in 2014 had an impressive archive of not just WWE content, but also the history of past promotions like WCW, ECW and others as well.

Having the full archive of WCW Nitro, Thunder, Saturday Night, and PPV shows allowed fans to re-live the shows that they grew up watching or maybe wanted to check out for the first time.

At the start of the year, WWE Network ended and international fans have been using Netflix to watch current WWE programming. Regarding the archives, they only have a select number of shows from WWE history while having no original WCW and ECW.

Fans in the US still can access those other companies on Peacock, but that deal is ending in the spring of 2026 and it’s not known if they will remain a home for WWE fans or if the company may want to bring US viewers to Netflix as well.

WCW History Can Be Relived By WWE On YouTube
