WWE King Of The Ring Final May End In Unexpected Result

Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes defied all odds and reached the finals of the King of the Ring tournament.

The duo will face each other at Night of Champions, and the winner will receive a title opportunity at SummerSlam 2025.

Since both of them have incomplete stories, a title opportunity is something both of them need.

WWE King of the Ring can end in favour of Randy Orton

While The American Nightmare winning the tournament seems like the obvious choice owing to his incomplete story with John Cena, Randy Orton has a claim to the throne for his 15th world championship.

During the kick-off show for SummerSlam 2025, The Viper revealed that he wants to get the 15th world championship around his waist. Hence, it wouldn’t be absolutely shocking if The Apex Predator walks away as the King of the Ring.

While speaking on The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter predicted that Cody Rhodes will win the tournament. However, Teddy Long disagreed and claimed that The Apex Predator might be the one to win the finals.

Yeah, it’s kind of difficult, but I am gonna kind of have to disagree with Bill again. I am gonna go with Randy Orton.

If The Viper wins King of the Ring, it’s possible he will pursue Gunther and not John Cena since The Champ closed that chapter. Nevertheless, The Viper has expressed interest in reopening that chapter.
