WWE’s Kevin Owens Threatens “Disgusting Human Being” Sami Zayn

Kevin Owens had some very strong words to say about his former best friend, Sami Zayn.

It has been a tumultuous six months for former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, who has turned on his closest friends like Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and Sami Zayn.

During the Undisputed WWE Championship Ladder Match at the Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens destroyed each other with some crazy moves while using ladders as weapons. Sami Zayn made his way down to the ring to check on his best friend Owens and also his good friend Cody.

After Rhodes gave Owens an Alabama Slam through a ladder at ringside that broke the ladder, Cody climbed the ladder to retain the Undisputed WWE Title while Zayn checked on Owens.

An angry Kevin Owens stunned his best friend Zayn with a cheap attack on Raw in Cleveland. After Zayn lost to CM Punk in the main event, Owens shoved Zayn into Punk and kicked Zayn in the head. Owens followed up with a Package Piledriver on Zayn, which led to Zayn getting stretchered out of the building. Owens also did the attack while wearing a “Sami Zayn Forever” shirt that he has worn in the past to support his best friend.

It was the same Package Piledriver that Owens used on former friends Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. The attack on Orton still hasn’t led to a return for The Viper.

Kevin Owens Warns Sami Zayn: “You’re Gonna Pay”

A video aired during WWE SmackDown in Memphis where Kevin Owens spoke into a phone camera while sitting in a car. Owens explained why he attacked Zayn the way that he did.

“You just stood there and watched while Cody tried to end my career. Worse, I think he was actually trying to end my life in that Rumble. But you? You did nothing.

You’re a horrible friend. You’re a disgusting human being. I’ll never forgive you. Never. But I am gonna make you pay. You’re gonna pay.”

Owens also said that he saw Zayn rushing to the aid of Roman Reigns during the Royal Rumble but for Owens…Zayn did nothing. Owens told Zayn he’ll make him pay.

Over the last 20 years, Owens and Zayn have been the best of friends, but also bitter rivals who have had many matches in WWE together as well as other promotions before they were in WWE. That rivalry appears to be back on while Owens likely will have to deal with a returning Randy Orton as well.
