WWE’s Kevin Owens Narrates Video For NHL’s Montreal Canadiens
Kevin Owens got to do something very cool for his hometown NHL team, the Montreal Canadiens.
As a young kid who grew up near Montreal, Quebec, Kevin Owens dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler. After learning how to wrestle as a teenager, Owens has spent the last 25 years building a legacy.
For the past decade in WWE, Owens has become a WWE Universal Champion, headlined WrestleMania twice, and gone on to win numerous other titles, which will likely lead to his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in the years to come.
Unfortunately for Kevin Owens, a serious neck injury that will likely require surgery has sidelined him for the time being. That injury forced him to miss his WrestleMania 41 match with Randy Orton. It’s possible that Owens could miss up to a year of in-ring action.
The WrestleMania 41 match with Kevin Owens had been built up since last November when Owens gave Orton a package piledriver, and Orton missed over four months of action while selling the attack. Joe Hendry ended up taking KO’s place, and he lost to Orton at WrestleMania 41.
On social media, Kevin Owens showed the fans what his KO-Mania shirt was going to look like for his match against Orton. Since it was KO-Mania 8, representing Owens’ eighth WrestleMania match, the shirt featured the heads of Owens and Orton over the bodies of Sid Justice and Hulk Hogan, which was the WrestleMania 8 main event.
Since this shirt will never see the light of day, here’s what it was going to be this year: pic.twitter.com/PjqDIruB4L

Kevin Owens Voices Video For Montreal Canadiens
Even though he is currently away from WWE, Kevin Owens was able to lend his voice to narrate a video for the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens ahead of their playoff game against the Washington Capitals.
What an honor for me to have had the chance to lend my voice to this incredible video.
Very grateful for the invitation. Thank you!

The Canadiens would go on to win 6-3 in Game 3 on their home ice at the Bell Centre. The Capitals lead the first-round series of the NHL Playoffs at 2-1 right now. The first team to win four games will move on to the next round.
