WWE’s Kevin Owens Discusses How Much Longer He May Wrestle For

Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens has addressed his wrestling and how many more years might be in his future as a pro wrestler.

At the WWE Bash in Berlin PLE on August 31st, Kevin Owens will get to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

On the road to the Bash PLE, Owens was reluctant at first about facing his close friend Rhodes because Owens didn’t feel like he deserved the title shot based on his win-loss record. As the weeks have gone on, Owens has regained his confidence and believes in himself as a guy who can beat his buddy Rhodes.

The 40-year-old Owens has been a pro wrestler for over 20 years and confirmed to UPROXX that he likely won’t be wrestling for another decade.

“I don’t have a decade left here. Another 5, 6 years or something if the opportunities are there and the circumstances are right.”

Owens went on to talk about wanting to have fun while also helping younger talent.

“Mainly, though, I really just want everything I do to be memorable and enjoyable for people watching, and I really want to help the future of the industry. Whether, you could say work with the younger talent or whatever, but it’s not even necessarily younger talent, there’s talent of all ages that are coming up, that are developing. And I want to have a blast doing it.”

Kevin Owens’ WWE Contract Set To Expire In Early 2025

There are still four months left to go in the 2024 calendar year, but it was recently confirmed by Kevin Owens himself that his WWE contract is set to expire at some point in early 2025.

It’s not known yet if Owens will re-sign with WWE on a new deal or perhaps test the wrestling waters elsewhere.
