Why WWE Has Kept Wyatt Sicks Off Television
The Wyatt Sicks group has been away from WWE television for several weeks, and it may not be due to storyline reasons.
Over the last two months, WWE has moved some talent around via the mysterious “transfer window” that allows the General Managers of the shows to move wrestlers around. Due to the transfer window, SmackDown has gained big names like Damian Priest, The Miz, and Braun Strowman while Raw has added Bayley, Austin Theory, and Grayson Waller.
It was announced on the January 13th edition of WWE Raw the Wyatt Sicks group has been moved to SmackDown. Even though the SmackDown move was announced, the Wyatt group hasn’t been seen on SmackDown in the two episodes since they were moved.
Alexa Bliss has been in the news of late regarding a potential return to WWE television, but that has been delayed due to contract issues that may be worked out soon. Bliss was formerly linked to the late, great Bray Wyatt on screen several years ago, so an association with the Wyatt Sicks group has been rumored for months.
Whether Bliss is involved in a storyline with The Wyatt Sicks upon her eventual return to WWE TV is unknown at this point.
Injury Issues Have Sidelined The Wyatt Sicks
The Wyatt Sicks group consists of Bo Dallas, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, and Nikki Cross. There have been singles matches for Dallas as Uncle Howdy, but most of their matches (since debuting in the summer of 2024) have been tag team matches.
Fightful Select is reporting that the absence of the Wyatt Sicks is not due to Alexa Bliss’ contractual situation. Fightful claims there is an “injury-related reason preventing the Wyatts from being on television.”
With the Royal Rumble set to take place on February 1st, it’s possible that some members of the group could be in the Rumble match, but perhaps will hold off on bringing the group back to television until everybody is healthy.
