Why WWE Has To Keep Nature Of Seth Rollins’ Injury Secret

Seth Rollins

The legitimacy of Seth Rollins’ injury was questioned following Saturday Night’s Main Event, but since then, other information has allowed fans to piece the situation together.

The Visionary faced LA Knight at SNME, and supposedly suffered an injury that pushed him out of action.

However, it was later noted that Rollins had suffered an injury ahead of the special event, but the match against The Megastar was used to showcase that injury to the fans.

Seth Rollins’ return should remain a mystery

It so happens that The Visionary is expected to return at SummerSlam 2025 during CM Punk vs. Gunther, and cash-in for the World Heavyweight Championship.

On Notsam Wrestling, Sam Roberts explained why WWE should ensure fans do not find out what is exactly going on with Mr. Money in the Bank.

I hope we don’t find out the nature of this injury. If Seth Rollins is going to be out for a considerable period of time, I hope that that’s kept a big secret because as long as it’s not announced, and even if it is announced, maybe we wouldn’t believe it. But there is this thinking that now every time a match like this comes up, we have to go, well, either CM Punk wins or Gunther wins or is Seth going to cash in? Is Seth healed? Is Seth better? Is Seth not injured? Is Seth this? Is Seth that? But there is this version where Seth returns.

Roman Reigns not mentioning The Visionary was questioned as well, but WWE likely does not want to tease a storyline between the former Shield members unless it is possible.
