John Cena wrestled his last match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show took place at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. on December 13.

Following the event, Triple H logged on his X/Twitter account to reveal the record-breaking ticket sale WWE made on Cena’s retirement night.

HHH revealed that no other WWE show in a regular arena had ever earned as much total revenue as WWE did with SMNE at Capital One Arena.

Plus, Cena’s retirement night made more money than any concert, NBA/NHL game, or special event that’s ever run in that building.

Triple H tweeted, “Thank you @CapitalOneArena! Tonight’s #SNME was not simply the highest grossing @WWE arena event ever, but highest grossing event ever at Capital One Arena.”
