WWE’s Je’Von Evans Blasts AEW Veteran, Makes Bold Claim About Tony Khan
Je’Von Evans is a rising star in WWE who is unafraid to speak his mind toward AEW’s Ricochet while making an interesting claim about Tony Khan.
There are many wrestlers on the NXT brand who obviously have very bright futures in WWE. Some of them are current champions, while others are on the rise and likely will hold gold someday soon.
When it comes to rising stars, Je’Von Evans stands out a lot as a wrestler who recently headlined the NXT Stand & Deliver PLE when he challenged Oba Femi for the NXT Title in a match featuring Trick Williams.
While Evans came up short in that match, he also won his feud with former NXT Champion Ethan Page earlier this year to show he has what it takes to be a top guy.
Je’Von Evans is one of the youngest superstars in WWE, having just turned 21 on April 29th. “The Young OG” has been wrestling since he was 14 and quickly made a name for himself before WWE signed him when he was 19.
It appears that Evans is also very proud of what he does in a WWE ring, and for good reason.
Je’Von Evans Won’t Tolerate Slander From AEW’s Ricochet
In a series of now-deleted posts on X/Twitter, Je’Von Evans took exception to former WWE superstar Ricochet, who is now in AEW as a heel, saying he would “squash” him if they had a match. Evans responded with this:
“My Bad. I Just Got Done Training At The Performance Center, Under Shawn Michaels. Something That You Don’t Have Or Do BUT, I Bet Yo Brown Egg Head Ass Would Squash Me If Tony Told You To🤷🏾♂️Much Love OG❤️🔥 #TheYoungOG #TupacOfThisGeneration”
Ricochet, who spent a few years in NXT before joining the WWE main roster, replied to Evans about his history.
“Brother, I was learning from Shawn Michael’s when you was like 12. Then went on to become multiple time Champion. Let me know when you win one, little boy. And yeah, if Tony [Khan] asked me, I’d definitely beat yo ahh, cuh. Also, by just simply mentioning my name, this is your most engaged with post. You’re welcome for the exposure, kid. 👑”
At that point, Evans responded to Ricochet while also calling Tony Khan a “crackhead” among other things.
“You Learned From HBK When I Was 12 And Became A Multiple Time Champion. Now, You’re Wrestling In Front Of 2,000 People, Every Week, For A Crackhead. Talk About An Upgrade Am I Right??😂. Sounds Like Mr. Khan Isn’t Giving You Enough Attention. Sooooooooo, You Had To Come For A Successful Ass Youngin💯You’re Giving Me The Most Views On My Post And I’m Finally Helping You Get The Most Attention You’ve Ever Had In Your Career🤷🏾♂️All Love😉❤️🔥”
In response to that, Ricochet tried to laugh it off.
“How many people does the PC hold? Bahahaha but keep up the energy. It’s makes you look cool.”
