WWE Issues Statement To Other Promotions Over Talent
WWE has issued a very public statement to other promotions looking to book the company’s signed talent.
WWE launched its new global talent identification initiative in October 2024, expanding on the existing NIL(Next In Line) program by focusing on potential future superstars already in independent wrestling promotions around the globe. WWE ID has snapped up several stars on the independent scene already and introduced a new Evolve show to give them their own spotlight.
But WWE wants others to help their talent out.
WWE Open For Business With Other Promoters
The WWE ID social media account has now issued a plea to independent promotions noting that their talent is open for bookings:
A reminder to all independent wrestling promoters…. You can book all #WWEID talent in your promotion! This includes all #WWEID talent who are getting exposure on #WWEEvolve Contact talent individually for booking info.
The account then noted the likes on that post as it made another plea to promoters to flood their shows with WWE-affiliated talent possibly at the expense of other independent talent who then might not get the chance to work:
Hey independent wrestling promoters….. The fans have spoken. They want #WWEID prospects on your indie shows. Look at the likes
It’s not just ID talent working elsewhere as WWE veteran Natalya will be debuting in two promotions, marking her first matches outside a WWE ring since 2007 when she signed for the company.
