WWE Is Travis Scott”s Full-Time Job Now

Travis Scott WWE

Travis Scott made his presence felt at WrestleMania 41 as he helped ensure John Cena became a 17-time world champion and Scott wants more.

Travis Scott burst Cody Rhodes’ eardrum and left him with a black eye at Elimination Chamber after John Cena shockingly turned heel on Rhodes after winning the Chamber match. Cena joined The Rock and Scott in leaving Rhodes bloodied and battered as they sent a message before WrestleMania.

At WrestleMania 41, John Cena challenged Rhodes for the WWE Championship as he looked to break his tie with Ric Flair with 16 world titles each. Cena and Rhodes’ contest might not go down as a classic, but after referee Chad Patton was taken out, fans soon realised something was about to happen.

The Las Vegas fans came to their feet as Travis Scott emerged – The Rock remained notable by his absence – and he sauntered to the ring to help out Cena. Cody Rhodes, however, managed to get a measure of revenge on Scott for his Elimination Chamber injuries as he dropped the rap star with a Cross Rhodes but the distraction was enough for John Cena to capture the 17th world title of his legendary career.

Travis Scott Wants More In WWE

At the post-WrestleMania press conference, Triple H gave more insight into Travis Scott’s future in WWE and said the rap star now sees the company as his full-time gig:

The most crushing thing for Travis in the world would be if he went out there and screwed it up. He comes back and he’s like a kid at Christmas, giddy and laughing.

I don’t think he’ll get upset at this but he walked to the back and he said ‘dude, I’m serious this is my full-time job now, I’m telling you’, and two seconds later I said ‘See you at work tomorrow.’ He loves it and to me that is what this is all about.

Having somebody like him be a part of this and he’s wide open to anything. This guy’s the biggest musician in the world and he’s out there getting hit by Cross Rhodes and doing all this stuff where if he gets injured I’m sure it’s not helpful to his music career.

It’s fully out of a place of respect and when I see him with our talent, when I see him with our people, when I see him with our crew and everybody else he’s the most respectful guy and he’s like a kid in a candy store with all this stuff.
