WWE Star Suffers Injury Ahead Of SmackDown; Future Uncertain

WWE Ambulance

This week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown will take place on January 2, 2026, at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.

Ahead of the show, WWE star Michin suffered an unfortunate shoulder injury.

The injury occurred sometime during WWE’s 2025 Holiday Tour, likely at a live event match against Women’s Champion Jade Cargill.

The last match she had was on December 27 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Cargill defeated her to retain her title.

Michin first hinted at her injury via an Instagram post, stating she had to cut the tour short but would be back soon, without specifying details initially.

She wrote:

Have to cut my tour a little short but damn, was it was fun! I got to take a bite out of cake too 🥰🥰 BRB 💙#WWEHolidayTour #BigMeech #HardcorePrincess #WWE #Smackdown

WWE Star Michin Out Of Action Indefinitely

Fightful Select recently confirmed her shoulder injury, though the exact severity and cause remain undisclosed.

The Stamford-based promotion has pulled Michin from the rest of the Holiday Tour, replacing her in scheduled matches against Cargill.

Michin was supposed to face Jade Cargill for the Women’s Championship on the first SmackDown of 2026 in Buffalo, New York.

If she were to win, she’d get a title opportunity. However, it appears that it won’t be happening now.

No official recovery timeline for Michin or return date has been announced yet, as the injury’s severity is unknown, but she is expected to miss some ring time.
